Shane's Rib Shack

I just ate at Shane's Rib Shack for the first time on Sunday after church. I had always heard a lot of people talk about how good the food was, but I am not a big rib or BBQ eater. However, I am so glad that I went there, because the food was absolutely delicious.

Shane's Rib Shack is located at 1100 Brampton Avenue in Statesboro. They offer ribs, sandwiches, BBQ, chicken fingers, wings, basically anything you can think of.

They also have 2 different kinds of sweet tea. They have regular sweet tea and Statesboro sweet tea, which I got, because I love sweet tea. I ordered the chicken finger plate which came with 4 large chicken fingers and two sides: I got mac and cheese and french fries. They have other sides such as potato salad, cole slaw, etc.

If you have not tried Shane's Rib Shack, I definitely suggest it. They also do catering for parties, etc. Until next time, Happy Dining!

Ever had a craving for breakfast or even lunch in the middle of the night? I know I have and Huddle House is just the place to go. Huddle House is located at 216 Lanier Drive in Statesboro. Relatively cheap, they pretty much offer anything you can throw out. Hamburgers, steaks, shrimp, breakfast foods, you name it. They are always open 24 hours a day and they are open on holidays. What a place!

For breakfast you can get pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, omlets, hashbrowns, etc. They have the Big House Breakfast, which is 3 country fresh eggs, golden hashbrowns, bacon or sausage, and one biscuit with gravy or grits and toast, all for under$5. How can you beat that?

Subway

Subway is one of the many fast-food restaurants specializing in sandwiches. With 4 locations in Statesboro, Subway is one of the more popular deli places, considering food quality and price.

Subway offers a different sandwich every day of the week for $2.49 for a 6-inch sandwich. You can get the meal which comes with a drink and either chips or fruit. They now have a fit evolution, which is a way to eat healthy and still enjoy deli sandwiches. I'm sure that we have all heard about Jared, who lost a lot of weight while eating Subway. Subway can be really healthy if you want it to be.

Subway has any kind of sandwich. Ham and turkey, roast beef, meatball, sandwiches are only just a few. They are now offering wraps and breakfast.

I usually get a ham and turkey or either check out the sandwich of the day. Until next time, Happy Dining!

McDonald's

McDonalds is definitely a college students' best friend. How can you beat a chicken sandwich or a double cheeseburger for only one dollar. McDonald's is located at 710 Georgia Avenue in Statesboro and also a new one opened not long ago on Fair Road in Statesboro. They are open 24 hours for your convenience. For all you partiers and late-night workers, McDonalds is the perfect place to go and get almost anything you want for a very low price.

They offer hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches (grilled or fried), chicken nuggets, salads, fries, plus much much more.

McDonald's is also incorporating a more healthy menu by offering fruit and wraps along with yogurt. On the McDonalds website you can do what is called Bag a McMeal, which tells you how many calories and fat is in what you are eating.

I love going to McDonald's and ordering a McChicken sandwich and a small coke on the Dollar Menu. It comes out to be a little over $2.00. Cheap and tasty!! Until next time, Happy Dining!
